2026 Photo Calendar unveiled

  • Pick up your FREE 2026 Photo Calendar - The photos in this calendar were selected from all of the photos that were submitted from residents of all 50 states.  We hope to have some of the photographers on hand to tell you about their photos. Join us for our holiday open house near Owatonna, MN, where photo entries, crafts, music, and community fun come together for a full day of family-friendly celebration.

Photo Entries on Display - 

  • Over 800+ photos will be on display.

Back again this year - Conversation with a Photographer.

This is your chance to ask those questions that you have always wanted to.  We have a great line up of genres from Pets | Wildlife | Event photography.

  • 9:30 am - Jessica Stricker, Pet Photographer
  • 10:30 am - Trevor Gieseke, Portrait Photographer
  • 11:30 am - Sherry McCartney, Wildlife Photographer

These conversations will be free flowing without a formal agenda. Every question is a fair question from type of cameras, speed settings, lenses, or maybe even what to wear or best time of year to get the right photo.

Support our Community -

The Community Pathways Van will be in the parking lot collecting food and winter outerwear.

Music –

A variety of community musicians will be on hand providing live music throughout the day.

Interactive Experiences and Demonstrations -

  • Steele County Humane Society
  • Owatonna Police Department

Make-&-Take Craft Stations-

  • There will be a number of Hands-On craft stations where your children can make the craft on site. Local non-profit organizations will be on hand to help make this possible.

Your Favorite Mascots- times may vary

Letters to Santa-

  • We will be handing out stationery to write letters to Santa - These letters can be completed on site or returned to Tri M at a later date.  We have a special mailbox that goes direct to Santa, you can drop them off in the mailbox inside the building. - Santa may even write the children back!

 Local Market-

  • Check out some fun local vendors including Holiday Stationary, Coffee, Homemade Cards, Homemade Sweet Treats, Weaving.
