Open Positions:

First Shift Printing Press Operator:

Tri M Printing is currently seeking an experienced Printing Press Operator - 4 color to join our team in Owatonna, MN.

This position is primarily responsible for operating and tending printing presses, performing traditional printing methods, such as offset by performing the following duties.


Job Responsibilities:

Operates printing press, specifically up to 14X20 sheet size
Run several presses with different size and color capacities
Prepares machines for printing
Installs the printing plate with the images to be printed
Ink the presses, loads paper, and adjusts the press to the paper size
Ensures that paper and ink meet specifications
Adjusts the flow of ink to the inking rollers accordingly
Guides paper through the press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls
Monitors their operation and keeps the paper feeders well stocked
Makes adjustments to manage ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber
Corrects paper tears or jams
Searches for and correct problems
Makes quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of paper and ink
Pulls sheets to check for printing imperfections
Defines and documents processes in procedures and work instructions
Set ups, monitors, and adjusts the printing process on a control panel or computer monitor
Oils and cleans the presses and make minor repairs
Performs preventive maintenance
